Here the main reason for the sound problem is the hardware which is not set up properly and here we shall look at checking the sound card and verifying the cables which are unplugged into the exact locations and make sure that hardware has power in it and check the volume control.

Here you have to check that your computer has sound processor, sound card and its working condition.

• Click on start menu.


• Select “Control panel”.


• Click on “System and Security” link.


• Under system click on “Device Manager”.


• Now double click on “sound, video and game controllers” option to expand the category and you can check the device which is listed.


Here if there is yellow mark next to the sound card in Device Manager, then there may be a problem.

• Right click on name of sound card.


• Select properties.


• Click on General tab.


• Check out the Device Status box to identify the problem with the sound card.


Here make sure that all the cables are plugged in the current location and it should includes speakers, headphones and USB audio devices.
