How to enable or disable make hidden markup visible when opening or saving option in Word 2010

Various features in concern with the privacy of a document are for Word 2010 application. Saving of personal information without affecting it in any sense is considered to be maintenance of privacy. Also collection of statistical information regarding stability problems, system configuration and features mostly used by a user is done on condition of anonymity to preserve privacy of a user. There are some word document specific features included in the privacy options. One among them is for making hidden markup visible when opening or saving. The option makes the hidden markup for the document visible at the time of opening or saving the document. Editing done by other users on a remote machine in the same document you are working on gets marked up. Marking up of the editing information makes it easy for a user to view what all are the editing and formatting are there in the document. The option can be enabled or disabled as per user requirement/need. To know how make hidden markup visible when opening or saving option in Word 2010 can be enabled or disabled, follow below mentioned steps:

Steps to enable or disable make hidden markup visible when opening or saving option in Word 2010: -

1. Open dialog box for "Word Options", after a click on the button for "Microsoft Office" Word options. Now, follow an undernoted step from the two mentioned.

a. Click on a button tagged by "Options" label, which is located just below the "Word" tab.

b. Click on a tab tagged as "Word" and then from the adjacent side of the same tab, click on the "Options" tab, which is located under section labelled as "Microsoft Tools".

2. Open the dialog box for "Trust Center" by first clicking the "Trust Center" button in the left panel of the dialog box of "Word Options" and then look in the adjacent side of "Word Options" dialog box for the button "Trust Center Settings..." to click on it.

3. Click on a tab tagged by "Privacy Options" label in the left part of the dialog box for "Trust Center" and then look in the adjacent part for option "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving" and its checkbox under "Document-specific settings" section. Now click in the checkbox to check (put a right mark in) it. Checking the checkbox confirms enabling of the corresponding option.

OR

Click on a tab tagged by "Privacy Options" label in the left part of the dialog box for "Trust Center" and then look in the adjacent part for option "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving" and its checkbox under "Document-specific settings" section. Now click in the checkbox to uncheck (clear) it. Unchecking the checkbox confirms disabling of the corresponding option.

4. Close the "Trust Center" dialog box by pressing its "OK" button by a mouse click.

5. Close the "Word Options" dialog box by pressing its "OK" button by a mouse click.
