How To Charge Apple Watch Without Charger
There are four ways to charge your Apple Watch without the official Apple Watch charger.
Method 1: Use Wireless Charging
Wireless chargers not just work with phones and tablets, but wearables as well.
Simply place the watch on the charger, and it will start charging. Remember that wireless chargers are not as fast as the traditional method, so it will take a bit longer to charge your watch.
You can buy a wireless charger that is specifically designed for the Apple Watch. Or, you can use any Qi-certified charger.
Method 2: Use Your Computer
If you have a MacBook or Mac Mini with a USB-C port, you can use it to charge your Apple Watch. Just connect the watch to the port with a Lightning cable. The watch will start charging immediately.
You can also use a Windows PC to charge your Apple Watch. Just connect the watch to a USB port with a Lightning cable. Again, the watch will start charging right away.
If you’re using a MacBook Pro, you can also use the Thunderbolt 3 ports to charge your watch. Just connect the watch to the port with a Lightning cable.
Method 3: Use an iPad
You can also use an iPad to charge your Apple Watch. Just connect the watch to the iPad with a Lightning cable. The watch will start charging right away.
Keep in mind that this method will charge your Apple Watch more slowly than the traditional charger. So, it’s not ideal if you’re in a hurry.
Also, keep in mind that this method will drain your iPad’s battery faster than usual. So, it’s not something that you want to do on a regular basis.
Method 4: Use a Portable Battery Pack
If you have a portable charger, you can use it to charge your Apple Watch. Simply connect the watch to the charger with a Lightning cable. Keep in mind that it will take longer to charge your watch using a portable charger than it would with the traditional method.
You can use any portable charger that has a USB port. You’ll get the best results if you use a charger that is specifically designed for the Apple Watch.
